Free AI crawler & TDM checker
Can AI companies train on your site?
EU copyright law lets AI companies mine your content unless you opt out in a machine-readable way, and the EU AI Act requires AI model makers to respect that opt-out. We read your robots.txt and TDM signals and show which AI training crawlers are allowed in.
What we test
AI training crawlers blocked
Your robots.txt rules for commercial AI bots such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot and Google-Extended.

Questions
Do I have to block AI crawlers?
No. This is your choice, not a legal duty. But if you don't opt out in a machine-readable way, EU law lets AI companies use your content for training.
How do I opt out of AI training?
Disallow AI training bots like GPTBot, ClaudeBot, CCBot and Google-Extended in robots.txt, and optionally publish a tdm-reservation signal.
Will blocking AI crawlers hurt my Google ranking?
No. Google-Extended only controls AI training use; normal Googlebot search indexing is separate.
Does this affect my Risk Score?
No. It's shown as advice only, because opting out is a choice rather than a legal requirement.
Is the checker free?
Yes. You can scan any website once a day for free with no sign-up.
